The Process

  1. Contact me with your ideas!!

  2. Consultation & Estimates

    • We will talk about your visions, any must-haves, size, and placement. This can include and reference images, drawings, etc.

    • I will give you an estimate for design and tattoo time.

  3. Deposit

    • The non-refundable deposit begins my drawing process and secures your appointment date.

  4. Design Time

    • I will include minor revisions, but should you wish to make significant changes, start with new concepts, or do a complete redesign will require additional payment.

  5. Tattoo Time!!

    • I do not include stencil placement in tattoo time, however, multiple or excessive re-placements will start to accrue tattoo time.

  6. Repeat until covered in body art :)

Pricing

FLASH TATTOOS -  are priced at a set rate, although final cost may additionally depend on size or placement.

Custom work is on a sliding scale. A sliding scale allows me to offer my art in a way that is more inclusive to those impacted by systemic inequality, or to those with different levels of financial access.

Those who pay the most on Tier 1, allow me to offer art to those who may need community assistance. Those on Tier 2 allow me to make a livable wage from my work. Those who pay on Tier 3, allow me to break even.

Read through the descriptions below to determine where you fit on the scale. I will not quiz you on your self evaluation, but please be honest and respectful with your self justification.

FAQ's

What if we go over time?

  • If we go over time, I will honor the origional

Do you require a consultation for every tattoo?

  • Not for flash pieces! But using my Tattoo Inquiry Form is a great way to connect and let me know what you want!

Do I have to be 18 to get a tattoo?

  • This depends on the state/shop I am tattooing in! Please reach out and ask!

Do your prices include a tip/do we tip you?

  • Tips are not expected, but always appreciated! I base my prices on what I think is fair, accessible, and I still can make a livable wage.

  • That being said, I love gifts, trinkets, snacks!!

What do I bring for my appointment?

  • Please bring a valid, not-expired ID, payment form, water, and any snacks you may want.

  • Wear comfortable layers that can be removed in the area you are getting tattooed.

  • Bring any other things you'd like to help you feel safe and comfortable! Need a stress ball? Bring one! Want to wear headphones and zone out? Go right ahead! Want to cover your feet in the blanket you've had as a kid? I am in full support!

How do I prepare to get tattooed?

  • Take care of your whole body in advance! Make sure that you have gotten a good night sleep, eaten a WHOLE meal beforehand, and are well hydrated.

  • Avoid getting sunburned/suntanning, excess caffeine (you can drink your normal amount but please do not shotgun an energy drink before you get here), or alcohol consumption for the 24hours beforehand.

Why are tattoos so expensive?

  • Costs cover studio fees, tattoo supplies, and saving for taxes I need to pay. In addition, licenses and certification renewals.

  • I am my own social media manager, marketing director, graphic designer, stock and inventory guy, on top of the years of expereince I have spend honing and growing my art.

  •  I, like many self employed people, do not have sick pay and employer healthcare, so those expenses need to be planned for as well. I am extremely grateful for any amount of support that my clients are able to give, and very often work with budgets whenever I am able.

Do you accept trades for tattoos?

  • If full financial reciprocity is inaccessible to you, I am occasionally able to support a trade of a tattoo in exchange for your offerings. Trades can be full or partial, depending on prices and my financial capacity for this form of reciprocity.

  • Things I am drawn to: tattoos, skill share, fine metal jewelry, personal training, sparkly/fringe/disco accessories, teaching me a new skill.

  • If you are seeking a trade, please include in the note section of my booking form: your offering and the price range you would ideally like to trade for
